Demand for our products and services means we currently have an opening for a Customer Relations Officer Supervisor at our Caboolture branch.

The role involves: 

  • Work alongside the Customer Relations Manager
  • Supervise, train and mentor the Customer Relations Officers Team
  • Promote open and regular communication with Customer Relations Officers Team
  • Conduct Performance Reviews for direct reports
  • Action after hours phone enquiries
  • Attend and participate in monthly Supervisor meetings
  • Attend and participate in Taipan/Leadership Training sessions
  • Manage and delegate the Sales Inbox
  • Action technical sales calls/technical support enquiries
  • Translate and data enter sales quotes for customers & external sales
  • Translate and data and enter sales orders
  • Source products externally when required
  • Liase with counter sales/walk in customers
  • Manage and update Taipan Customer Service Processes and Procedures
  • Maintain and update company databases
  • Tend to after hour enquiries as required
  • Comply with Occupational Health & Safety Regulations
  • Monitor and report on own activity
  • Provide a monthly report to Customer Relations Manager
  • Maintain leave calender for Customer Relations Officer team to ensure team isn’t left understaffed
  • Achieve agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) set by the National Sales Manager
  • Other duties as requested by Taipan Management

To be successful you’ll need some or all of the following:

  • Technical knowledge in the hydraulic hose and fittings to identify issues and needs of the customer
  • Excellent Sales and Customer Service Skills
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of hydraulic industry applications
  • Information and communication technology (ICT) literate
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Effective Time Management
  • Valid full driver’s license
  • Forklift license
