Environmental Policy

Taipan is committed to reducing carbon emissions and landfill through innovative solutions and preventative measures, outlined in our Environmental Management System. Taipan is continuously monitoring and reviewing our practices and procedures that impact the environment to ensure we are operating with best practices in line with ISO14001:2015.

Our Objectives, Policies and Procedures all align with our Mission to reduce our impact on the world and its environment. Being in an industry and working with materials such as oil and gas, we understand the severe toll this takes on the environment under reckless and irresponsible business practices.

What Environmental Management means to us

Taipan sees Environmental Management as everybody’s responsibility and has implemented measures across all departments and operations, from suppliers and freight couriers to packing material, all the way to assigned rubbish bins in the lunchrooms. Sustainability is crucial for the future of this industry, and Taipan understands that early intervention is essential for building sustainability.

Our Commitment

Taipan plans to take every practical measure to improve and reduce carbon emissions, pollution, and the overall impact our products and practices have on the environment. With measures currently taking place, our team are taking active steps to become greener and more sustainable in the future.

Some of these practices include cleaning equipment and used products in designated areas to prevent runoff into stormwater drains, no chemicals are to be discharged into drains or waterways, and chemical spills are dealt with following the relevant SDS.

Taipan will adhere to all applicable laws and legal requirements outlined in our Legal Register, as well as the standards specified in ISO14001:2015. Taipan has established objectives and an Environmental Management System that will serve as the framework to guide our practices towards a more sustainable future.
