How do I order a part?
After logging into your account you can then start by clicking on the “Shop Now” block and search for your part(s) via description and choose which part(s) you require, alternatively you can use the search function to search for Taipan part numbers (only) or descriptions to help you find what you are after.
After selecting parts, then what do I do?
Once you have placed all your required items into your cart, you can click on view items in my cart at the top of the page on the right hand side, and then from there you can check out!
How do I checkout?
Checking out is a 3 step process: – Checkout Step 1; You will have access to change your delivery address to a pre-existing address in your account, Select to pick up from one of our 3 branches or choose a courier from the drop down box or by selecting other you can nominate your own courier and couriers account number. There is also room to add further comments at the bottom. – Checkout Step 2; You will have access to change your billing address to a pre-existing address in your account, (we recommend you leave this as your default address) you will then have a choice of paying for the transaction securely via Visa or MasterCard (only) or charging your purchase to your account, with a provision of being able to supply an order number, and further comments. – Checkout Step 3; In the last part of the checkout process please review your order and ensure all details are correct. The check the box agree to Terms and Conditions and select “Confirm Order” You will now be redirected to a confirmation Page, and you order is complete.
Can I view the status of my order?
Yes you can! By clicking on the “My Account” link, then under “My Orders” you will see the link to “View My Orders” – Here you will be able to see the status of all you online orders
Can I amend my order after placing it online?
To amend an order that has already been submitted online, please contact us immediately; Ph: 1300 654 782
When will I receive my order?
We will endeavour to dispatch your order on the next business day, however depending on the size of the order this may not always be possible, but rest assured we will do all that we can to dispatch your order as quickly as possible! Unfortunately delivery times are out of the control of Taipan and we cannot guarantee ETA’s.
Can I track my own order?
When your order has been dispatched, you will receive a notification via email with your invoice. It will display the carrier and con note reference, so you can track your order.
I forgot my password
If you have forgotten your password please click the link Forgot Password and enter in the email address used to create your online account, this will generate an automatic email and send you a new password, which you can then change after logging in and clicking on “My Account” If you have received an email with a new password which you did not request contact us immediately!
Can I place an order quickly?
Yes! You can place an order by using Taipan part numbers and clicking on the link in the top menu bar “Express Order” Simply type in the part number and order quantity and add it to your order list, then when complete add your list to your shopping cart ready for checkout.
Can I upload an order to your site?
Yes! You can upload a CSV (Comma Delimited) file to our website. It will need to contain in column A the Taipan part number and column B your order quantity. For more information on how to upload an order via CSV see our instructions found on this page.
How do I view an invoice?
After signing into your online account, you can click on the “My Account” link at the top of the page, then click on the “View my statement” link. You will be redirected to a new page where you will see your statement, then below you will see a list of invoices, to view your invoice click on the “Blue” invoice number.
How do I print an invoice?
After signing into your online account, you can click on the “My Account” link at the top of the page, then click on the “View my statement” link. You will be redirected to a new page where you will see your statement, then below you will see a list of invoices, to view your invoice click on the “Blue” invoice number, then from your browser options click print.
How do I view my statement?
After signing into your online account, you can click on the “My Account” link at the top of the page, then click on the “View my statement” link. Your statement will now be at the top of the page showing you your balances.
Can I pay my account online?
Unfortunately no! You can’t at this stage.
Who has access to my online account?
The only person(s) that should have access to your online account are those who you release the details of your account to. They may include but only be limited to those who are employed within the business that relates to your account. If there is any suspicious activity on your account from those outside your organisation the account will suspended indefinitely. Taipan Sales Rep’s and Systems Administrator also have access to your account and has the ability to edit any details within your account, this is used solely to provide you with assistance for your online account. How do I change my account details?
Account Details: After signing into your online account, click on the “My Account” link and you will have access to change all of your online account details, click on “Edit My Details” to change your personal details and contact number email and fax. Account Addresses: You can also add/change delivery and billing addresses on your account, by clicking on the link “view or change entries on my address book” PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL CHANGES MADE ONLY AFFECT YOUR ONLINE ACCOUNT, IF YOU NEED TO CHANGE DETAILS WITH YOUR TRADING ACCOUNT PLEASE CONATCT US! Can I block others from accessing my account?
Yes you can! The best way to restrict access to others to your account is by changing the password, your account will only be as secure as what you allow, if others are ordering on your account, it is not the responsibility of Taipan to monitor who is ordering from the site – Remember when handing out account details, those with access will be able to change all details in your account except for who the transactions will be charged to – YOU! Taipan will have access to your account regardless of your password for the sole purpose of helping you manage your account.
My login is not working
If you find that your login is not working, please contact us immediately -Support- I cannot view files downloaded from this site this site currently use two file types to download content. The file extensions used are .pdf and .xlsx To be able to view .pdf documents you need to install Adobe PDF Reader To view the .xlsx files you need to install Microsoft Excel 2007 or later

Who is responsible for my account?
Primarily you are responsible for your account, the dissemination of your online account details should be kept to a minimum and restricted to those who work within your organisation. Taipan cannot be held responsible for any charges incurred to your account through the website. If you feel that your account has been compromised please contact us immediately!
