THE HOSE DOWN MAY 2025

The Monthly Wrap-Up

We squeezed in some R&R over the Easter break, and now we’re ready to kick things up a notch at our first Field Days for 2025!

Field Day Schedule

As you read this, we’ve got a team in Tassie for our first Field Days of the year! We love getting out and about in our local (and not-so-local) communities, so they’re a pretty big deal for us. If you’d like to suss out our products, spin our prize wheel, or simply drop by and say hey, here’s where to find us in 2025.

  • AgFest – Launceston, Tasmania (1-3 May)
  • FarmFest – Toowoomba, Queensland (3-5 June)
  • Dowerin – Dowerin, Western Australia (27-28 August)
  • Henty – Henty, New South Wales (23-25 September)
  • Yorke Peninsula – Paskeville, South Australia (30 September – 2 October)

The Easter Bunny Visited!

The Easter Bunny must be working overtime this year, ‘cause we all walked in on the Thursday before Good Friday and discovered a sweet surprise at our workstations: a jar brimming with Easter eggs! What a cool dude. Must’ve been a logistical nightmare to hit all of the branches overnight, too.

We hope he found time in his busy schedule to drop by your place, but if he didn’t, now you know why.

Our Team’s Top Easter Camping Locations

Campers are a funny bunch. We asked our outdoorsy team members where they spent their Easter break, and they flat-out refused to tell us. Apparently, like fishing spots, the coordinates are sacred. Only one was brave enough to describe his adventure… with as minimal detail as possible.

Location 1: [REDACTED], approximately 180km north of Brisbane

Jarred from Caboolture found himself by the seashore, not selling seashells, but seeing if snapper season had started. We can’t tell you if he was successful – we signed an NDA.

While he spent his days fishing, every night he was caressed to sleep by the melodic and soothing sound of waves lapping the beachfront. Sounds like pure bliss. It’s a shame he’s called dibs and we can never go there.

The line for the spinny wheel growing rather long at a recent Field Day. Everyone wants a shot at winning a Weber!

The Easter Bunny delivered 107 jars of chocolate eggs this Easter! Under the lid of one lucky team member was a small white rabbit which marked them a winner of an even bigger chocolatey surprise.
