THE HOSE DOWN OCTOBER 2025

The Monthly Wrap-Up

We wrapped up our final Field Days for 2025, where the team soaked up the banter, the food, and the prize-wheel excitement. From epic tractors to Dagwood dogs, it was the perfect mix of hard work, laughs, and a whole lot of good vibes to round out the year.

Final Field Days for 2025

As we speak, the Taipan team are at Yorke Peninsula, our final Field Days event for 2025. If you swing by our socials, you’ll see we’re making the most of it!

We asked our team for the highlights of their 2025 Field Days experience. Here are just a few of their responses:

Anthony: The Dowerin Field Days didn’t disappoint, even when the mornings started out cold. Once the sun came out, the days were perfect, with little rain to dampen spirits. Fueled by Dagwood dogs, breakfast burgers, and great coffee, the atmosphere was buzzing with energy. Spending time with workmates while meeting people from far and wide made the event truly special. The joy on the kids’ faces after winning a prize from the wheel was priceless, especially alongside the big Weber BBQ giveaway. And of course, the highlight for me was seeing the incredible machinery, especially the 150-tonne silage wagons and 600hp track-drive tractors.

Johnny: Engaging with punters and customers, and the camaraderie developed with fellow employees during the days. I get the biggest enjoyment from spruiking the prize wheel, especially when the kids (both young and not so young) spin it and get a kick out of winning a prize. I have attended all but one of the Field Days for Taipan and love every second of them. They can be hard work, but are very rewarding.

Joe: Probably the camaraderie amongst the team (aka banter) and catching up with people from the other side of the country or people you don’t usually work with. Field Days also provide great opportunities to network and chat amongst local customers, or customers of our customers. Ohh, and usually the food’s pretty good. 😉

Ant is trying his best not to let the rain at Dowerin dampen his spirit, (we think) it’s working! Luckily, it was fleeting.

Joe gets the pleasure of viewing himself on our branded Field Day marquee. Unfortunately, it wasn’t until after we had it made that he let us know that was his bad side.
