What is ISO Certification & What Does it Mean for Our Customers?

ISO 9001
As of September 2024, we have earned our ISO 9001 Certification, which is fancy talk for “we’re now officially awesome at managing stuff, staying efficient, and delivering top-notch customer service.”
According to the Citation Group’s website, this is the official definition:
ISO 9001 Certification shows that a company or organisation is certified to the internationally recognised Quality Management System (QMS) standard. ISO 9001 is designed to accelerate business performance, instil a sense of continual improvement and strategic decision-making that improves on the quality of your products and/or services, and helps to guarantee improved customer satisfaction.

Benefits of ISO 9001 include:
- Increased customer trust and satisfaction
- Robust quality control processes
- Cost savings and productivity improvements
- A culture of continuous improvement
- Helps you as our customers to tender for Government contracts

ISO 14001
As of November 2025, we are ISO 14001 certified.
Being ISO 14001 certified basically means our business has its act together when it comes to looking after the environment.
In simple terms, it shows that we’ve put proper systems in place to:
- reduce waste,
- use resources efficiently,
- manage environmental risks, and
- continuously look for ways to improve our environmental impact.
It’s not about being perfectly green, it’s about having a solid plan, tracking our progress, and actually doing something about it. Think of it as an internationally recognised “we care about the planet, and we can prove it” badge for our business.
According to the Citation Group’s website, this is the official definition:
ISO 14001:2015 is an international standard that creates an effective environmental management system, manages environmental issues, ensures compliance, and addresses risks and opportunities in your operations. This certification is a strong environmental management standard that encourages continuous development in line with your environmental goals, and proactively identifies risk factors, opportunities, and problem areas.
