Demand for our products and services means we currently have an opening for a Customer Relations Manager based out of our Melbourne branch travelling and working with customers throughout Western Victoria and Southern NSW.

The role involves:
- Working alongside the National Sales Manager
- Answering inbound telephone sales/technical calls
- Developing, managing and maintaining solid relationships with customers and key accounts
- Using strategic planning to develop and document a thorough understanding of Taipan customers’ needs and requirements offering customised solutions
- Proactive contact with customers as determined by their needs
- Maintaining regular contact to provide effective and interactive customer relationship management
- Be the main point of contact between specific key accounts and other internal team members
- Actioning, engaging and securing new customer enquiries
- Performing onsite visits on a constant basis
- Actioning customer requirements in a timely manner
- Ensuring customer records are up to date in company databases
- Performing Annual Customer Reviews
- Attending and participating in scheduled meetings and training as required
- Supporting and participating in Marketing campaigns
- Translating and data entry of sales quotes and orders
- Using a collaborative and open approach to resolving customer issues/complaints
- Achieving agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set by the National Sales Manager and Managing Director
- Providing monthly reports on customer base and KPIs to National Sales Manager and Managing Director
- Liaise with all customers including within the branch
To be successful you’ll need some or all of the following:
- Hose and fittings product knowledge desirable
- Knowledge of hydraulic industry applications desirable
- Parts interpreter experience desirable
- Customer service skills and salesmanship
- Communication skills
- Valid full driver’s licence
- Information and communication technology (ICT) literate
