What you’ll be doing:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in tight markets
- Find leads, convert prospects and open accounts to secure new opportunities
- Develop, manage and maintain solid relationships with customers and key accounts
- Use strategic planning to develop and document a thorough understanding of Taipan customers’ needs and requirements offering customised solutions
- Research and analyse market trends, competitors, and customer needs
- Proactively contact customers and determined by their needs
To be successful you’ll need some or all of the following:
Information and communication technology (ICT) literate
Sufficient technical knowledge in hydraulic hose and fittings to identify issues and needs of the customer
Knowledge of hydraulic industry applications desirable
Customer service skills and salesmanship
Problem solving skills
Effective communication skills
Valid full driver’s licence
