Weather Worries

Last month we had some interesting weather wreaking havoc across parts of Queensland, leaving devastation in its wake and our Head Office in Caboolture wasn’t spared. The newly completed renovation ended up being about 5ml under water. We’ve learnt from our mistakes when our Rocklea Branch went swimming a few years back and can confirm no stock was damaged. We wouldn’t be Taipan if we didn’t try to make light of the situation with Troy and Jason testing out our February promo item – Nice work boys, the Marketing team are so glad we were on photo duty and not raincoat testing – we’ll have a go next time…. Safe to say all in all they work great, so keep your eyes peeled for one inside orders packed in February – you too could look as good as the boys did!

Talking about promos, we know you love sweet treats, so look out for some jelly-beans in your March orders. Just remember a second on the lips, forever on the hips!😂 

February Fasting

In other news, February brought around a month of New Year’s resolutions as Taipan participated in our very first FebFast, a campaign that raises funds for struggling youths. Across the country, our team sacrificed something important to them for the whole 29 days! Some crazy people gave up coffee, alcohol, junk food or reduced their screen time. It wasn’t all doom and gloom though, there were high stakes up for grabs including weekly prize draws such as prime parking spots and car detailing packs.

Footing Tipping

And last but not least, the hottest topic around the branches at the moment is our annual footy tipping comp! Whether you’re into NRL or AFL there’s something for everyone. The competition is fierce, the stakes are high, and we’d be lying if we said we weren’t all a tad competitive so it should be another great season! We’ll be sure to keep you updated with who takes home the crown come the end and who’s been dubbed the season’s yellow hat wearer!
