The Monthly Wrap-Up
We’ve had so much going on this month, it’s hard to know where to start! We celebrated a bunch of Taipan legends at our Staff Milestone Event, our Melbourne and Adelaide branches struck a pose at their annual photoshoots, and the rest of us did our best to avoid FOMO… unsuccessfully.
Staff Milestone Event
Every year, we hold an event to celebrate the team members who’ve hit a significant Taipan anniversary. This year, Pauline and Lachlan from Head Office, Luke from Melbourne, and Oliver from Rocklea all joined the illustrious 5-year club!
Not to be outdone, Jade from Rocklea racked up his 10th Taipanniversary! To put that in perspective, when Jade’s Taipan journey began, Apple had just released the iPhone 6S, Malcolm Turnbull was Prime Minister, and Bruno Mars’s Uptown Funk was blaring from every speaker, whether you liked it or not. How times have changed!
We couldn’t be more stoked to have you all on the team, and we can’t thank you enough for all of your hard work and dedication over the years. You’re a bunch of legends!
Melbourne & Adelaide Branch Photoshoots
Our two southernmost branches kicked off our annual run of photoshoots, and to say everyone looked dapper would be a gross understatement. Supposedly, the teams were on their best behaviour… which as you may have expected, didn’t preclude a few cheeky moments!
Unfortunately, you guys only see the professional final product, but rest assured – we’ve got plenty of ammo for some quality banter!
We had a fantastic night at Popolo in Brisbane to celebrate some of our team members hitting a milestone year with Taipan.
The Melbourne team shave, get dolled up and don their best Taipan shirt for their annual branch photoshoot.

Happy Valentine’s Day… or is it? Cupid’s not feeling the love this year, and he’s taking it out on the team. What could possibly have his bowstrings in a knot? 🤔
