Whilst the weather at our Caboolture branch is getting warmer by the minute, our Sales and Marketing team were shivering in their thermals at the Henty Machinery Field Day, which started off at a cool 2º. Despite the cold, they had an amazing time meeting so many locals and would you believe it, they even had time for an impromptu photo shoot! Henty marks the end of our Field Day adventures for 2022 but keep an eye out as next year we have SIX booked in all over Oz!

Over in Queensland, our Rocklea branch has been getting a spot of TLC after the flooding at the start of the year. The Sales and Admin team are getting a brand-new office! Phil and Paris have been playing rock, paper, scissors to see who gets first pick of the new office chairs. Don’t worry, we didn’t forget about our customers! We’ve made sure the front counter will be set up in the new space so you can all enjoy it too… but we must warn you, Zephron’s been hard at work on the flat packs to get this space up to scratch, so enter with caution. I think he’ll be happy if he never flat-packs again!

The Taipan Team has also been participating in Steptember to raise money for the Cerebral Palsy Alliance. In addition to supporting a great cause, we’ve noticed a huge motivation boost in fitness and movement from all our staff. This more than likely is related to our in-house competition, where, in smaller teams, we’ve been tracking our steps in an effort to be named Step Champions of Taipan. Recently, the Taipan team celebrated Daffodil Day, where we dressed up (some more than others!) and enjoyed an awesome morning tea, all while raising money for the Cancer Council. We want to give an extra special thank you to our gorgeous daffodils, AJ, Harry and Matt, for being our mascots on the day. In total, Taipan raised $1,285 for the Cancer Council which was a fantastic effort from all our branches! It was great to see so many people get involved!

Finally, the moment you have all been waiting for… we have launched our Customer Giveaway!!! This year, we’re giving away a Hamilton Island Holiday for two. We sat around thinking, that’s great and all… a holiday for two… but how could we make this giveaway bigger and better than ever? Then suddenly, the door swung open and there stood Taipan Man.
