THE HOSE DOWN
MAY 2024

The Monthly Wrap Up

Have you ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes at Taipan? Thanks to the monthly ‘Hose Down’, we’re allowing you to take a sneak peek behind the curtain at what our team has been up to lately!

Easter Gifts

We promised an egg-citing Easter, and boy, did we deliver! Our team got totally spoilt by the Easter Bunny and even had the opportunity find a couple of golden tickets in amongst the egg deliveries. Luke from Melbourne, Felicity from Rocklea and Joe from Caboolture were the lucky ducks who snagged the extra prizes and scored something extra special! Winners are grinners!

Musical Cars

Before the Caboolture crew headed off for a couple of days of rest and recovery though, they had to battle it out with their fellow team members. Fighting off three 20-foot containers and a whole heap of rain created quite the competition to snag a car park!

Long Weekend Getaways

Once the holidays officially began, camping was the hot activity of choice for a fair few of our crew. Dylan from Melbourne dubbed it “glamping” and was psyched to break in some new gear. Meanwhile, Sarah from Caboolture whisked her family away to a secret spot, possibly convincing her pals to invest in a camper like hers—she’s quite the persuader! And Neil, our resident retro enthusiast, revved up his vintage dove for a weekend of good tunes and great mates.

What’s coming up in the pipeline?

We’ve got an action-packed month ahead as our Rocklea team prepare themselves for a visit from our very own Dream Mentor. We wonder what mischief she’ll stir up this time! But on a serious note, here to help the team achieve some really cool things, we are sure she’ll be welcomed in with open arms.

Apart from this, some of our team are starting to get moving ready to take on another Coastrek Charity walk this year. With team members aiming to achieve 30 and 50km walks, we can’t wait to see how they go!
