It’s a tough call on what we enjoyed more last month: our Diesel Dirt & Turf debut, or our extremely Taipan-esque Easter egg hunt.
Diesel Dirt & Turf Recap
We Diesel Dirt & Turf’d our hearts out last month. We wanted to make the most of our debut appearance, and it’s safe to say we did. We had the best time chatting with punters, giving away heaps of freebies, and even performing some live demonstrations, a Field Days first for us. Huge thanks to the Diesel Dirt & Turf team for putting on a truly awesome event!
We’d also like to give a special shoutout to TJ, who took home our 4WD Camping Pack. We hope you enjoy your prize as much as we did giving it away, TJ!
Camp got a massive upgrade with fresh product stands, extra space for our Taipan merch and room to show off our latest giveaway – a Kings Centre Console Fridge! Congrats to the lucky winner.
It’s Not Easter Without an Easter Egg Hunt
And it’s not Taipan without a fun twist!
This year, we ran a week-long Easter egg hunt. Each day, a riddle was posted to our team Facebook group. The next riddle wouldn’t unlock until someone had solved the current one, so we put our heads together and performed some flawless mental gymnastics. The final riddle revealed the location of a highly coveted prize (a big ol’ chocolate bunny, not one of those puny little fellas) within each branch, and Alicia from Perth, Gabbie from Adelaide, Luke from Melbourne, Christina from Rocklea, and Tegan from Caboolture hustled quicker than the rest of us to claim their prize. Well played, team.
