Have you ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes at Taipan? Thanks to the new monthly ‘Hose Down’, we’re giving you the opportunity to take a sneak peek behind the curtain at what our team has been up to lately!
I’ve been everywhere, man!
Well, it feels like we’ve blinked and the year’s gotten away from us! Where did the time go? We have successfully attended quite a few field days this year with just two left to go, the countdown is on. We love a good field day for so many reasons, lots of new faces to meet, lots of wheels to spin, coffee to sip and it’s a great chance to get out into local communities and support one another. If you’re around, be sure to say g’day to us at the following field days:
Henty Machinery Field Days: 19th – 21st Sep
Yorke Peninsula Field Days: 28th – 29th Sep
It’s all happening at Head Office!
If you haven’t read about our extension happening at Head Office, head over to the Important Info to get all the juicy details! With the new building going up, the team have been rocking some seriously cool earplugs but that’s not all… we have a new addition to the forklifts here at Head Office which is an interesting little machine called Bendi. Cute name, huh! This articulated forklift allows for one rack to be at a 2.1m distance from the other instead of the previous 3.6m gap the previous forklifts needed, which will maximise how many aisles Distribution will be able to have… how cool is that!
Steptember… the games are about to begin!
At Taipan, the team can get pretty competitive… throw a challenge at em’ and watch out! Well… that’s exactly whats happening… for the month of September the team will be participating in STEPtember for the second year in a row… and if last year is anything to go off, this is going to get intense!! The way it works is we’re all split into teams all over the country, stepping and raising money for charity.
