The Monthly Wrap Up
It was a quieter month for the Taipan team in August, with most of us hunkering down to
wait out the cold and dreaming of our next holiday. That doesn’t mean there was nothing happening though,
with orders coming in thick and fast and some of the team getting to enjoy
the wonders that Australia has to offer.
Field days seemed like the place to be, with our Sales and Marketing teams attending
simultaneous events in WA and TAS! The temperature may have been a tad different
between the two events, but that didn’t stop the Taipan team from having a fantastic time
in both places, with plenty of interesting customers to meet and sights to take in. We can’t
wait until next year, with another six field days scheduled in already!
Our Customer Relations Specialist, Mick, was also out and about taking in the sights around
the country as he visited some of our more remote customers. From Bowen to Winton and
plenty of places in between, Mick was definitely doing it tough taking in incredible sunsets and
stopping to ‘rest’ overlooking the water. Oh, and don’t forget about his quick stop-off to take in
The Big Mango! It’s a tough job, but someone’s got to do it.
If you missed it, last month we also announced the imminent arrival of our newest branch!
It’s been all hands on deck as we welcome our new branch manager, Alex, to the Taipan
team, and work on shaping and stocking the new building into something amazing.
February can’t come soon enough! Allan and Amy were lucky enough to be the faces of our
Adelaide announcement video, and we’re sure it was super tough for them spending the
day at the beach working hard to get that perfect footage.
While there was plenty more fun stuff (and serious work) going on behind the scenes for

What’s coming up in September?
This month, some of our team will be getting together for our annual Customer Relations Day. Events like these are crucial for our team to get together and brainstorm where we are going with customer service to ensure we are always improving as a company. We can’t wait to see what comes out of it!
