Here, there, and everywhere 

Al and Linda have returned to tell tales of their recent Victorian sales trip full of cold showers, motels with no cutlery and a delayed GPS system! Although we can’t say we’re totally jealous of some parts of their trip, there were way more ups than downs, with some absolutely awesome customer visits which means some great relationships are being made. 

Another one of our team members was also spotted out visiting customers around Oz this month. Customer Relations Manager, Steve, has had a blast on his latest NSW trip racking up the kms, connecting with customers all over and getting to see some awesome sites along the way. We asked him what his favourite part of the trip was, he said it was the gourmet servo food… good one Steve, we’ll leave the three-day old pies for you, thanks.  

Construction under way  

We are saying farewell to the creek out the back of our Caboolture branch to make way for our second extension. If we keep it up, we’ll be on our third extension before you know it! However, let’s focus on the present and what this extension means for you, our customers. Thanks to the space being created our distribution will now be able to handle all that stock we have coming in. With how things are progressing we wouldn’t be surprised if the space is filled faster than it was built. 

Training triumphs

Mal, our newest Trainer is starting off the first quarter of this year with a bang. Despite Mick leaving behind a pair of big shoes, Mal is well on his way to filling them. His success can be attributed to a combination of some great role models from the very talented Taipan team, oh and his previous experience as a teacher probably helps a bit too, we suppose. We can’t wait to see Mal in full swing in the next couple of months as he rolls out his new set of training modules. 

With great training comes even greater service so watch this space!
