The Monthly Wrap-Up
We celebrated some major Taipanniversaries and capped off a big year of fundraising by going purple for the Starlight Children’s Foundation.
Staff Milestone Event
Last month, we celebrated a bunch of legends who’ve solidified their place in our Hall of Fame by hitting significant milestones!
Danielle from Head Office, Mat from Caboolture, and Joe and Dylan from Rocklea all joined the impressive 5-year club. What a huge effort!
Meanwhile, Greg from Caboolture, along with Sammy, Phil, and Emma from Head Office, upped the ante by racking up their 10th year with us! To put that in perspective, when they joined us:
- Apple had just released the iPhone 7;
- Justin Timberlake’s Can’t Stop the Feeling! was topping global charts;
- The UK was deliberating on whether to separate from the European Union (which was overshadowed by another huge political decision in the US about six months later…)
In all seriousness, it’s been an absolute privilege to watch our milestone honourees evolve over the years, and we can’t thank them enough for their hard work and dedication. Here’s to their continued growth and success!
Gotta hand it to the boys in Hose Assembly at Caboolture, they coordinated their purple cowboy hats and sashes to raise funds for Starlight Foundation. Next time, though, we might need to give them some posing advice…
Starlight Day
As you guys know, our team selects three charities to support each financial year. In the last 12 months, we’ve fundraised for the RSPCA by hosting a pawsome cupcake day; guessed how many gummy bears were in a jar to back Bears of Hope; and now, we’ve finished strong by donning our finest purple getups in honour of the Starlight Children’s Foundation.

What’s happening on our social media?
This is Dylan, the go-to guy for Rocklea’s Hose Assembly!
Dylan started with the Melbourne team, then made the move up to sunny Queensland to join the Rocklea crew, and both agree that he’s awesome to work with. He loves hard yakka and can knuckle down to get the job done, but also likes having a laugh and joining in on the banter.
Outside of work, Dylan’s created the ultimate gaming bunker in a room under his house, which he and his brother spend a lot of time in. He also loves his coffee and mowing his parent’s lawn… but only when he’s let loose on the ride on mower!
