Price Increase Reminder

Just in case you missed it, back in July, we gave you the heads-up about our upcoming price rise that’s scheduled for September 1st, 2023.

Being just around the corner, this is a friendly reminder to make sure you’ve got your price lists updated this month.  

If you need information on how to upload to your computer software from a CSV, updated price lists or if you missed our mail out list or any other back-end support then please contact one of our team on 1300 654 782. 


 

Caboolture Expansion

Guess what! Taipan has begun the final stage of construction at the Head Office warehouse at last! This phase adds an additional 600 square metres of what rounds out our 4,000 square metre building. With product continuing to pour in, this space will need all the help we can give it.  

To enhance the utilisation of the area, we will close the bulk racks to a minimal 2.1 metres apart and utilise our brand new Bendi articulated forklift. With this super maneuverable machine, we hope to last the next couple of years in the current building but with the clock ticking, we are on the lookout for far larger premises.

Strategy Day

In August, we got a whole heap of our Taipan team together in Queensland for our third annual Strategy Day to discuss all things dreams, goals and how we can better support the growth of people. Our team work together to help one another grow both personally and professionally, enabling us to create a base of raving fans, which most of you know is one of our core values!  

This way of thinking stemmed from our very own Managing Director, Allan Sandilands who was inspired by the Dream Manager program and decided to adopt it into the Taipan workplace. The strategy day was a huge success and we’ve walked away with some pretty cool actions to help our team continue to grow and develop.
